WELCOME TO HAMILTON’S BRANCH PAGE

The Hamilton Branch includes members from Hamilton, Brantford, Burlington, Guelph, London, Grimsby, Niagara, and more.  Our members represent a diverse background in the administrative profession, supporting a wide variety of offices and industries including but not limited to government, healthcare, engineering, construction, industrial, and financial.

UPDATE ON THE STATUS OF THE HAMILTON BRANCH 2022-2023

Hamilton Branch members collectively agreed at the branch AGM held on April 7, 2022 to operate as a virtual branch, under the umbrella of Members-At-Large for the 2022-2023 fiscal year due to volunteer and attendance challenges resulting from the pandemic in 2020 through 2022. The branch will operate without an executive team and will not conduct branch business meetings while under this virtual format.  Members of the Hamilton branch will, however, have the option to reactivate as a physical branch in 2023 (or 2024 if additional time is needed) once volunteers step forward to create a full branch executive.

Everyone is still strongly encouraged to meet, network, discuss career development and support, and socialize via member-initiated and member directed gatherings both in-person and virtually (through AAP’s online community) during this year.  The end goal is for the Hamilton membership base to engage with one another – to collaboratively rebuild a new beginning for our #AAPintheHammer community!
